Volac has announced a new distributor agreement with Trident Feeds for the Megalac® range of Rumen-Protected fats.
Drawing on the combined expertise, innovation and heritage of two recognised names in British agri-business, the partnership is designed to provide even greater access to specialist expertise, with the sales and day-to-day technical support of the Megalac® range transferring to Trident Feeds.
“In a response to the continually evolving dairy industry, we are in turn evolving our customer coverage model, and working with Trident Feeds forms part of this drive to add further value to our customers,” explains Andrew Thompson, MD at Volac.
Trident Feeds, part of Asterra, the dairy division of AB Agri, has extensive experience in dairy nutrition and rumen-protected fats, and will provide increased customer access, greater local engagement and dedicated technical expertise.
Combined with Volac’s industry-leading knowledge, and more than 40-years of science-led research behind Megalac®, this creates a stronger platform to support customers, with a shared commitment to unlocking ruminant potential.
Crucially, there will be no change to the quality, performance or supply of Megalac®. The range will continue to be manufactured by Volac at its Liverpool facility.
