TechMix is pleased to welcome Dan Gnadt as Director of Operations for TechMix and its Immuno-Dynamics division. Dan joined the team in May and will lead operations strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across our primary production units. In this role, he will oversee production at Immuno-Dynamics and manage all contract manufacturing relationships for TechMix.
Dan Gnadt brings more than 24 years of experience in dairy food manufacturing, beginning as a department supervisor for a dairy creamery. His most recent role was leading plant operations for a dry blending business that produced human-grade dairy powders. Before his manufacturing career, Dan spent 10 years as a professional minor league baseball umpire, a role that helped shape his calm, decisive leadership style.
Known for building strong teams and fostering a culture of empowerment, Dan believes the best ideas often come from the plant floor and that investing in people is the first step toward sustainable growth. “Dan’s leadership style and depth of operational expertise make him a perfect fit for our future,” says Mike Nelson, President of TechMix. “His ability to balance strategic direction with on-the-ground execution will be key to scaling our growth and delivering even greater value to our customers.”
Outside of work, Dan and his wife have two adult sons, and together they enjoy hiking, biking, and yoga. Dan also pushed through the most demanding, yet most rewarding accomplishment—earning a second-degree black belt in Taekwondo. The disciplines of training and the principle of doing more than thought possible or capable, he takes into the business environment. In this way, he encourages colleagues to stick together, work as a team and understand each role, all as contributors to success.
