Dinnissen officially opened its new 2,000 m² D-Innocenter in Sevenum today. Customers in the food, feed, pet food, and chemical industries can use the facility to test integrated processes under near-industrial conditions before installation. This reduces technical uncertainty and limits the time required for commissioning at the customer’s site.
Testing complete processes before installation

The D-Innocenter allows customers to test integrated process setups under near-industrial conditions. Instead of assessing one machine in isolation, Dinnissen can examine how the product behaves throughout the process and how the individual machines interact.
Each test starts with one concrete process question. Based on the product and the intended application, Dinnissen builds the required setup and records the relevant process data. The findings provide direct input for the final engineering and equipment settings.
“The D-Innocenter lets us test the complete process before installation,” says Łukasz Patyk, Manager D-Innocenter. “We can identify and resolve issues in Sevenum instead of at the customer’s site. This shortens commissioning, limits production downtime and gives the customer more certainty before the final investment.”
Material analysis in the laboratory
The new D-Innocenter includes a dedicated material analysis laboratory. Here, Dinnissen examines the flow characteristics and other properties of customers’ products. Depending on the product, measurements of particle size, moisture content, density or viscosity provide insight into how it may behave in the intended process. The results support validation of the proposed solution and provide additional input for engineering and equipment selection.
Tested with actual customer products
Before the official opening, Dinnissen had already completed its first factory acceptance test in the facility. One product test combined a big-bag emptying station with a lump breaker, vacuum conveying and inline rotary sifting. The processed powder was then filled into a new big bag.
During the test, Dinnissen adjusted the machines to the properties of the customer’s powder. These settings can now be applied during commissioning instead of being determined after installation.
Greater certainty before start-up
The D-Innocenter can be used for new production lines and changes to existing processes. Customers can validate a proposed solution before committing to the final configuration. When test results reveal a better approach, Dinnissen can adapt the process before production equipment is installed.
“A production line should arrive on site with the main process questions already answered,” says Wouter Kuijpers, Managing Director at Dinnissen. “By validating the process in Sevenum, we reduce the work required during start-up. Customers reach production sooner and with fewer uncertainties.”
