The pet treat brand Delickcious has launched a new line of gourmet delicacies — including paella for dogs, liver with apple for cats, and even borsch that both cats and dogs can enjoy. The Chef’s Menu line was created in collaboration with well-known Ukrainian chef Yevhen Klopotenko. The chef contributed his signature recipes, while a team of pet food experts — nutritionists, veterinarians, and technologists — adapted them for animals. Previously, Delickcious had already developed other refined products for pets, such as drinks, soups, creamy treats, complete and complementary wet food designed to provide balanced nutrition.
Chef’s Menu offers appetising meal additions made with tender pieces of real meat combined with fruit and vegetables. Each dish in the line preserves the ideal texture. “It was important for us not only to maintain Yevhen Klopotenko’s original recipes and signature style but also to create dishes that are both safe and delicious for pets.” emphasises Oksana Taras, Head of the Delickcious brand.
Out of ten initial concepts, three were selected for the final line. All dishes contain only ingredients beneficial for pets — each component was carefully studied for its effects. The borsch features chunks of beef, beetroot, cabbage, carrot, and tomato. The paella for dogs combines chicken fillet, rice, carrot, and three types of peppers in a delicate sauce. And the dish for cats includes liver with apple and cranberry in a flavourful sauce.
All Chef’s Menu products are enriched with vitamins A, D3, E, and zinc to support pets’ health and maintain a shiny coat. The ingredients were carefully sourced from trusted suppliers across Ukraine and then delivered to the local Kormotech factory — the pet food manufacturer that owns the Delickcious brand.

Yevhen Klopotenko is one of the key figures improving food culture in Ukraine. The Delickcious brand supports the trend of pet food humanization and consistently promotes the idea of indulging pets with care and quality.
It’s no coincidence that borsch — Ukraine’s national dish, added in 2022 to UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity — became part of the Chef’s Menu line. During his culinary expeditions across Ukraine, Klopotenko spent over a year and a half collecting regional borsch recipes and was one of the initiators of Ukraine’s UNESCO application.
Now, Ukrainian pet parents can enjoy this iconic national dish together with their pets — each having their own delicious version.
The new Delickcious Chef’s Menu line is already available in Ukrainian supermarkets, pet stores, and online platforms. Currently, the brand’s standard product range is available not only in Ukraine but also in Romania, Poland, and the Baltic countries.
